For firefighting clothing, in addition to the design, form and model specified in the circular, the design must meet fire resistance standards. Specifically, it includes many layers (usually 3 – 4 layers) including: Fireproof layer, heat resistant layer, waterproof layer, and inner air release layer. Thanks to that design, it can best protect the body against high temperatures. Reduces the heat of fire, makes it easier to move during work.
Regarding the firefighting helmet, it is made of synthetic ABS plastic, with good impact resistance. Thanks to that, it is possible to maximally protect the head of the firefighting force against impacts outside the working environment.
Firefighting gloves are made from cotton (polyester), covering all 5 fingers. Firefighting boots made of artificial rubber or PVC are waterproof. Firefighting masks are made from 4-layer fabric, with an activated carbon filter layer to prevent toxic smoke from entering the respiratory tract.
